Sinn Fein representative and Local Election candidate Denise Mitchell has drawn attention to the current condition of the playing pitch at the Stardust Memorial Park.

"It is in a terrible condition and needs urgent repair. My party colleague Cllr. Larry O'Toole will be proposing a motion to Dublin City Council to have it completely refurbished as a matter of urgency. I will inform constituents of developments in this matter."
