Attack on Council workers condemnedPublished: 1 November, 2007
Cllr. Larry O'Toole, Sinn Féin, has condemned the attacks on Dublin City Council workers who were attempting to clear away bonfire material recently.
Cllr. O'Toole said, "I want to condemn the two disgraceful and cowardly attacks on the council workers prior to Halloween. These workers were working to make Halloween a safer and more enjoyable time for everyone."
Cllr. O'Toole added "I also want to commend the work and effort put in by Dublin City Council, Dublin Fire Brigade and Gardaí in making the festival safe and enjoyable for everyone. Also residents who acted in a responsible way by not leaving out material for bonfires." |
