Councillor on the Bus

Commenting on an Article in a recent edition of North side People 'when an aspiring candidate asked constituents when was the last time they saw a councillor on the bus' Cllr. Larry O'Toole, Sinn Féin said, "If this candidate had any local knowledge at all he would know that the bus or bicycle is my main mode of transport - I don't even drive a car". Read full article

Calling All Footballers in Dublin North East

Delegation to meet Minister.

Cllr. Larry O'Toole will lead a delegation of councillors, local residents, City Council officials and gardaí to meet Minister John Gormley and Dept. of Environment & Housing officials to demand that some of the €94 million to be used to develop voluntary housing and carry out remedial work on five local authority housing schemes will be used to carry out the refurbishment of Buttercup Estate, Darndale.
