Stardust Planning Application Rejected by Local Councillors.

Cllr. Larry O'Toole has welcomed the support of his fellow councillors for his proposal to reject the planning application on the Stardust site.

After a presentation of the planning application at yesterday's north central City Council meeting Cllr. O'Toole proposed that the committee reject the proposal out of hand.

Cllr. O'Toole said, "I welcome the support of my fellow councillors in rejecting this application. The tragic history of this location must be acknowledged and any entertainment activity associated with the development would be disrespectful to the memory of the victims, survivors and families of the Stardust tragedy."
