Dumping 'morons' slammedPublished: 1 February, 2010
Kilbarrack Road rubbish Kilbarrack Sinn Féin representative Mícheál Mac Donncha has slammed as 'morons' the people who recently dumped over 20 bags of rubbish, apparently after a party, on the corner of Kilbarrack Road andThornville Road. He said:"Areas across the Northside have seen a build-up of rubbish because of delays in bin collections caused by the bad weather. The City Council are doing their best to address this but it is disgraceful that people whom I can only describe as morons are adding to the problem by dumping rubbish on the streets. I would encourage anyone who sees illegal dumping of this kind to contact the City Council Waste Management Services and report it. Where possible the culprits should be prosecuted." Following Mícheál Mac Donncha's complaint the rubbish was removed by the Council. |
