Oscar Traynor Road Reopening Before the End of the Year.

Cllr. Larry O'Toole has welcomed the news that the Oscar Traynor Road will be fully opened before the end of this year. Cllr. O'Toole received the following report from Dublin City Council this week.

Final surfacing work on this project is due to start on November 10th. This is the last stage of the construction and should be finished before the end of the year. The full road width will then be available to traffic. Snagging works will be carried out early in the New Year.

Cllr. O'Toole said " While I welcome the news that the road will be fully operational before the end of the year we still never received a satisfactory reply as to why this project took so long to complete. For the last two to three years these road works have created untold hardship for people who had to use the road on a regular basis".
