REMOVAL OF WASTE AT IDA LANDS.

Commenting on proposals to excavate and dispose of deposited waste at IDA lands off the N32, Cllr Larry O'Toole has called for a full and transparent report on the removal and disposal of this waste.

Councillor O'Toole speaking today said "While I welcome the removal of this hazardous waste which has been a cause of concern to local residents since it was first discovered some years ago, I will be making a submission to Fingal County Council Planning Department requesting a full and transparent report on the removal of the waste. I will also be calling for full consultation with local residents and their representative groups in order to reach a satisfactory conclusion to this long runnning problem."
