Chess tournament at DCU.

Dublin City University hosted an international Chess tournament under the auspices of the Irish Chess Union (ICU) over three days last week. The tournament, a junior event, saw teams from Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales compete for a number of prestigious trophies. Read full article

Government not doing enough to tackle rising unemployment

Speaking in response to the release of the CSO Live Register figures for May 2011 Councillor Larry O'Toole said that 'the Government is not doing enough to tackle rising unemployment particularly in hard hit areas such as Coolock and Kilbarrack.' Good news for Bunratty Maisonettes Refurbishment Programme..

Cllr. Larry O'Toole has received good news from Dublin City Council that they are in the process of preparing tender documents for Phase 1B Bunratty Maisonettes refurbishment programme. Good news for Former Clancarthy Court Residents

Cllr. Larry O'Toole, Sinn Fein has received confirmation from Dublin City Council that refurbishment works on the Pyrite affected homes at Clancarthy Court; Donnycarney will commence shortly with contractors due on site in May 2011.
